Tim Weitzel, PhD

Dr. Tim Weitzel has over 25 years of consulting experience. He is a Senior Consultant with The Leadership Edge (TLE), focusing on TLE’s Executive Selection practice.  Dr. Weitzel brings thousands of hours of experience evaluating executive performance to mine the deepest possible insights to help your organization make smarter and more successful executive selection decisions.  His work lowers the risk in key hiring decisions and serves as the foundation to create highly focused and on-target developmental profiles for senior leaders.  Tim’s work with his clients includes Day-In-The-Life Executive Simulation assessment, 360 Feedback, Behavioral Interviewing and Psychometrics such as cognitive testing and personality profiling to ascertain a well-balanced and integrated profile. 

He holds a doctorate in psychology with an emphasis in organizational applications, a master’s of science in organization development, and a bachelor of business administration in management and marketing. Dr. Weitzel’s research interests focus on the next developments in organizational leadership and how to help organizations continue to evolve their executive selection and development accuracy.
